Due to Russia’s war against Ukraine, Go players from Russia and Belarus will not be admitted to the tournament.

2. VENUE AND DATE

Date: May 9–10, 2026

Venue: Vilnius Užupis Gymnasium, Krivių St. 10, Vilnius

3. RULES

McMahon system (no handicap), komi 6.5 points.
Duration – 5 rounds.
Main time – 60 min, byo-yomi – 3 periods of 30 sec per move (Japanese).
The tournament has official LGA tournament status. Organizers and participants must follow the LGA Tournament Code.
A participant arriving more than 30 min late will be recorded as having lost the game.

Round times may be adjusted to more convenient times by mutual agreement. The award ceremony will take place immediately after the last round. Clocks for each round will be started strictly according to the schedule.

5. TOURNAMENT FEE

School pupils and full-time students – free of charge.
Adults – €5.

6. TIE-BREAK CRITERIA / FINAL STANDINGS

Prize winners and players’ places in the tournament table are determined according to the following criteria, in order:

Number of points scored
Sum of the scores of opponents played against (SOS)
Sum of the scores of the opponents of opponents played against (SOSOS)
Direct comparison, if the players have played each other
Drawing of lots

7. PRIZES

The tournament winner will receive a cup and a diploma.
The 2nd and 3rd place winners will be awarded diplomas.
In addition, since this tournament is one of the qualifying Lithuanian Go Championship tournaments, the first eight players who are eligible to participate in the Lithuanian Go Championship will also receive qualifying points.

8. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Participants’ personal data, namely first name, surname, rating, city, country, and achieved results, may be publicly announced in online results and other informational notices related to this tournament. These personal data are used for the purposes of tournament organization and administration. These personal data are not deleted and are retained for statistical and historical purposes. All other personal data collected during participant registration will not be made public, will be accessible only to the organizers for the purposes of proper tournament organization, and will be deleted within one week after the end of the event.

By registering, each participant automatically agrees that the event organizers may freely use, without separate consent, all photographs and video material taken during the event for the purposes of disseminating information about the tournament and the Association’s activities.

9. OTHER

The organizers reserve the right to amend the tournament regulations no later than before the start of Round I, except for the schedule.

Any disputes that arise shall be resolved by the referee or the LGA Board.
