In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and the quarantine announced in Lithuania, we decided to postpone until further notice all the nearest go events organized by the Lithuanian Go Association – Vilnius Go Cup and the Lithuanian Youth Go Championship. They dates will be planned and reported upon the end of the pandemic and quarantine.
This year’s Summer Go Camp is planned on July 3-6, at the Ilona Homestead in Saladiškės, Molėtai district, on the shore of Ilgynas lake. We have decided not to cancel or postpone the camp yet. However, we are monitoring the situation closely and will respond appropriately depending on the evolving situation. We will inform about any the changes concerning to the camp as soon as possible.

Hello, we are pleased to invite you to the go tournament Vilniaus Go Cup 2019.

    Date: April 27-28, 2019.

  3. Tournament system and rules
    5 rounds McMahon, even games, komi: 6.5.
    Playing time: 60 minutes basic time, 3 periods of 30 seconds byo-yomi (Japanese).
    Japanese rules.
    This is an official tournament of the Lithuanian Go Association (LGA) and the Regulations of LGA Tournament shall apply to it.
    If a player is late more than 30 minutes, this player is declared the loser of the game.

    April 27:

    • Registration until 10:15
    • Round 1 – 10:30
    • Round 2 – 13:00
    • Round 3 – 16:00

    April 28:

    • Round 4 – 09:00
    • Round 5 – 12:00
    • prize giving and closing – 14:15

    The clocks are started at the scheduled times.

  5. Tournament fee
    • Children, pupils, and full-time students – free
    • Adults – 5 €
  6. Criteria used for final ranking

  7. Prizes
    • The tournament winner will be awarded a cup and diploma.
    • The players finished in the 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded diplomas.
  8. Other provisions
    Tournament organizers reserve the right to change a tournament regulations, but no later than the start of the first round of the tournament.
    Any disputes and problems will be settled by the referee or LGA management board.
